JUSTIN JOHNSON has resigned as CMO at Indianapolis-based Just Marketing Int’l for personal reasons. Johnson joined the company in ’07, having previously served in NASCAR’s N.Y. office as Managing Dir of Partnership Marketing. Prior to that, Johnson was MLB VP/Corporate Sales (THE DAILY).
AGENCIES: Relay Worldwide has promoted Account Exec LOU GOLDHABER to Account Supervisor. Goldhaber has been involved in the agency's work for Sharp Electronic's MLB activation of the Sharp Aquos brand (Relay)....Octagon has promoted Group Dir BO HEINER to VP and KAMI TASNADY from Account Dir to Group Dir (Octagon).
PLAYER'S CLUB: The National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) announced the following have joined its BOD: OTIS BIRDSONG, CHARLES SMITH, CHARLES KUPEC and MACK CALVIN (NBRPA)....MLBPA has hired Unite Here General Counsel DAVID PROUTY and National Labor Relations Board Field Attorney EMILY CABRERA as Staff Lawyers. Prouty will join MLBPA later this spring, while Cabrera is scheduled to start in April (MLBAM).
