Global chemical company Ashland Inc.'s BOD Wednesday elected VADA MANAGER as Dir of the company. Manager will serve as a member of Ashland’s Finance and Personnel & Compensation committees. Ashland is a Fortune 500 company whose main consumer brand is Valvoline Oil. Manager currently serves as Nike Dir of Global Issues Management, a hybrid role of in-house business consultant and strategic communications advisor for the company (THE DAILY).
EXECS: Topps has promoted SCOTT SILVERSTEIN to President & CEO, effective immediately. Silverstein had been President & COO since '04 (Topps)....New Balance named PAUL HEFFERNAN to the newly created position of VP/Consumer Experiences. The company also announced Exec VP/Int’l JOE PRESTON will become Exec VP/Global Footwear, Product & Marketing. Costante previously was Spurs Dir of Game Operations & Promotions and most recently operated his own sports marketing firm (Royals)....MLS/SUM named YOLANDA GRANT Finance Manager, CASEY PROZELLER Account Exec for Partnership Marketing and JOSE GALVAN Fan Development Coordinator (MLS)....Two by Four named SUZANNE VELONIS Account Exec.
