Aide, Realtor Deny Tiger Woods Bought Hamptons Home

Realtor Denies Woods Buying
$65M Estate In The Hamptons
A rep for TIGER WOODS said a front-page piece in yesterday's N.Y. Post claiming Woods is buying a $65M home in the Hamptons is "totally false," according to Laura Mann of NEWSDAY. Sotheby’s Int’l Realty Senior VP BEATE MOORE, the listing agent for the property, “continued to cite a strict confidentiality agreement in not revealing the parties involved in the sale last week.” But she said she was “stunned” by the report that Woods was the purchaser. Moore: “It is hilarious. … I don’t know where this comes from.” She added, “There’s not an ounce of truth to it.” But N.Y. Post Editor-In-Chief COL ALLAN, through a spokesperson, said, "We stand by our story" (NEWSDAY, 3/19).
