Anthony Ends Marketing
And PR Relationship With BDA
Nuggets F CARMELO ANTHONY has "terminated" his marketing and PR relationship with BDA Sports Marketing, though BDA Sports' CALVIN ANDREWS will continue to rep Anthony as his contract agent (ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS, 3/17)....PGA Tour player MATT KUCHAR has signed a representation contract with JEREMY ELLIOTT of Atlanta-based Career Sports & Entertainment (Jon Show, SportsBusiness Journal).

NAMES: Documents show that former CBC Sports Exec Dir NANCY LEE and CBC Sports Senior Dir DAVID MASSE for a five-day trip to Germany in June '06 spent $8,590 staying at the Kempinski Hotel Adlon in Berlin. Lee and Masse were in Germany to attend meetings with FIFA about "buying soccer rights for the CBC" (TORONTO SUN, 3/17)....LPGA HOFer CAROL MANN was named the recipient of the '08 PGA First Lady of Golf Award (HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 3/19)....A N.Y. medical examiner determined that distance runner RYAN SHAY died of an irregular heartbeat due to an enlarged heart after collapsing in November during the U.S. men's marathon Olympic trials in N.Y.
