The French Open named umpire SANDRA DE JENKEN EVERSMANN Head of the Sport Management Open at the French Federation de Tennis, replacing STEPHANIE SIMIAN, who left the post after seven years. Eversmann, who will oversee the running of the French Open, was the first woman to umpire a men’s Grand Slam Final at the '07 Australian Open (TENNISNEWS.com, 2/27)....Northwestern Univ. named Northern Illinois Univ. Associate VP & AD JAMES PHILLIPS AD, effective April 14.
