Miller's Pete Laatz To Become Ganassi Racing Marketing Dir

Miller Sports & Entertainment Marketing Manager PETE LAATZ is moving to the Chip Ganassi Racing team, where he will be Marketing Dir. Laatz, who begins on February 20, was Miller’s point man for the Lite sponsorship at Penske Racing, as well as other initiatives. Laatz’s hiring is part of a restructuring at Ganassi that includes moving DAN GRIFFIS to VP/Global Business Development, CHRIS WEILLER to VP/Partnership Management & Driver Management, and JOHN OLGUIN to VP/Marketing & Communications. Also, CAROL WIESE has been promoted to Dir of Licensing. Griffis will now head up Ganassi’s sales efforts, while Weiller will work directly with Ganassi’s sponsors. Laatz will work with sponsors primarily on their activation.
