Brad Ball To
Join NASCAR
NASCAR has named BRAD BALL VP/Entertainment Marketing, where he will lead entertainment marketing and content development and manage the organization's L.A. office, according to Gail Schiller of HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Ball replaces DICK GLOVER, who left last month to become CEO of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's Funny or Die Networks, and will report to NASCAR CMO STEVE PHELPS and Media Group President PAUL BROOKS. Previously, Ball was a senior partner at Moroch Partners Advertising, serving such clients as Disney, Sony, Universal, McDonald's and New Line. He will continue to serve on Moroch's BOD. As Founder & CEO of Ball Entertainment Group, he also has consulted for NASCAR, Imax, Disney and Time magazine. From '98-'03, Ball was Warner Bros. Pictures President of Theatrical Marketing and Warner Bros. Entertainment Exec VP/Corporate Marketing, where he served as the "lead exec" for the sports documentary, "NASCAR 3D: The Imax Experience" (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 2/11).
