Desert Dish: Giants, Patriots Attend Postgame Parties

Murphy Participates In Gridiron
Glamour Fashion Show In Scottsdale
After a long week of preparation and focus, members of both the Giants and Patriots  attended postgame celebrations in Arizona Sunday night.

A GIANT CELEB-RATION: The Super Bowl Champions hit the Axis/Radius nightclub in Scottsdale after their upset of the Patriots. Giants DE Michael Strahan was in attendance with girlfriend Nicole Murphy, as was WR Plaxico Burress, who also attended 944 magazine's post-game bash later that night. Celebs who came by to congratulate the champs included actor Kevin Dillon and singer Ciara (BOSTON GLOBE, 2/5).

PARTY POOPERS: In Boston, gossip columnists Fee & Reposa report at a "gloomy" post-game gathering inside the Westin Kierland Resort a "gracious but contrite" Patriots Owner Robert Kraft welcomed guests and thanked them for their support of his team this year. Kraft announced Earth, Wind & Fire, Alicia Keys and Snoop Dogg as the evening's entertainment but Snoop Dogg apparently "pulled the plug on his performance at the last minute." Kraft and wife Myra later "disappeared into a private room to commiserate with family and friends" including singer and Kraft-family friend Lionel Richie. Coach Bill Belichick was reported to have "shown his face," but QB Tom Brady and supermodel girlfriend Gisele Bundchen were not seen at the party. Boston-based business execs at the event included Sovereign Bank President Joe Campanelli, former Bank of America Chair Chad Gifford, Reebok President & CEO Paul Harrington, developer Robert Beal, RE/MAX New England Exec VP & Regional Dir Jay Hummer and Dunkin' Donuts COO Will Kussell (BOSTON HERALD, 2/5).
