Blog Hound: Super Bowl Media Day Frenzy

After a reporter clad in a bridal gown proposed marriage to Patriots QB Tom Brady during Super Bowl Media Day at Univ. of Phoenix stadium yesterday, many bloggers wonder if the event is an integral part of the week, or whether it has turned into an over-hyped and spectacle.

“Maybe it's just me, but this annual circus of the media flocking to players who are sitting high atop corny little interview platforms and being asked stupid, vacuous questions (some of which have absolutely nothing to do with the game at hand) just seems like a big waste of time and is something that is way over-hyped in my opinion.”
