Lots Of Green: Celtics, Garnett Lead NBA Store Sales

Celtics F Kevin Garnett's jersey was the best-selling among all NBA players at the NBA Store in N.Y. and at NBAStore.com from the start of the season through December 31, and the Celtics had the best-selling team merchandise overall. Garnett's No. 5 jerseys have tripled in sales since he was traded from the T'Wolves last season, while Celtics team merch has seen triple-digit increases. The NBA said the NBA Store and NBAStore.com in Q4 '07 posted their strongest combined sales quarter in history, up 6.5% over the year-ago period.  December '07 was the largest combined sales month ever, up 6.5% over December '06, with the Web site's sales alone up 14%. The following represents the most popular player jerseys from October 30 (Opening Day) to December 31, as well as the top-selling lines of team merchandise. Last season's rankings for the comparable period are in parentheses beside each entry (THE DAILY).
