STEVE MILLER was named to the newly-created position of CEO at The Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation. Most recently, Miller was a Senior Analyst and Adjunct Professor at the Univ. of Oregon’s Warsaw Sports Marketing Center (The Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation).
BASEBALL: The MLB Cardinals named GARY LAROCQUE Senior Special Assistant to GM JOHN MOZELIAK. For the past ten years, LaRocque served in senior management positions for the Mets (Cardinals)....Minor League Baseball (MiLB) promoted TINA GUST to Dir of Licensing and JONATHAN SHIPMAN to Dir of Accounting. The organization also named the following: MELISSA KEILEN Senior Manager of Sales & Marketing; CASEY BOUDROT Manager of Special Operations; NICOLE FERRO Manager of Sponsor Relations; MARY MARANDI Manager of Team Relations; and MARY WOOTERS Manager of Baseball Operations/Exec Assistant to the President. JILL RUSINKO was named Manager of Durham Operations, a new initiative for Minor League Baseball (MiLB).
EXECS: IxReveal, an advanced analytics software company, announced Giants Managing Partner PETER MAGOWAN is joining its Board of Advisors (IxReveal)....Sports Business Radio's BRIAN BERGER and LEE WEINSTEIN have partnered to form Evergreen Media Training, a media training and crisis counsel firm. Weinstein directed PR at Nike for 15 years, “preparing many of the company’s top executives for media interviews,” and currently runs his own PR firm, Lee Weinstein & Associates (THE DAILY)....Atlanta-based Career Sports & Entertainment (CS&E) named ANDREW CAMPAGNONE Senior Dir of Business Development. Previously, Campagnone worked for several NASCAR teams, including DEI, Chip Ganassi Racing and Bill Davis Racing (THE DAILY)....Vivid Marketing promoted JASON YAHNE to VP/Operations. Kratsios has served as the Principal-in-Charge for the M & H Sports Group’s monitoring of the construction of Citizens Bank Park, Ford Field, Comerica Park, Gillette Field and American Airlines Arena. Kratsios currently is serving as Principal-in-Charge on the new Giants and Jets stadium and the new Louisville arena (Merritt & Harris).
