As of Friday, Fox had just one 30-second slot left for Super Bowl XLII. The network had 58 commercial slots available for the game (USA TODAY, 11/12)....adidas’ Sports Licensed Division (SLD) has acquired Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Co. Mitchell & Ness has licensing agreements with the NFL, MLB, the NBA and the NHL (THE DAILY)....Hall of Fame Racing will switch from Chevrolet to Toyota next season, and the organization will “continue to lease engines and receive manufacturing support from Joe Gibbs Racing.” J.J. Yeley will drive the team’s No. 96 Toyota in ’08 (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 11/10).
