Jazz Leading NBA In New Season-
Ticket Sales For '07-08 Season |
The Jazz are leading the NBA in new season-ticket sales for the ’07-08 season with 5,300, and NBA Senior VP/Team Marketing & Business Operations Scott O’Neil said that the number is “second all-time” behind the over 8,000 full-season tickets bought by Heat fans after the team acquired C Shaquille O'Neal in '04, according to Linda Hamilton of the DESERET NEWS. The Jazz are also among the league's top three teams with a 95% season-ticket renewal rate. EnergySolutions Arena's lower level is “essentially sold out” this season, as nearly 15,000 season tickets have been sold. Jazz VP/Ticket Sales Jim Olson said the club has sold more season tickets than in '97-98, when the team made the NBA Finals for the second consecutive year (DESERET NEWS, 8/31).
