“If the point was to collect information, but to not release major points of that information then MLB would be doing a disservice to its fans.  We want to know the names, we want to know who has tainted this game that we love.”

Is the goal for Mitchell to just get a list of players who did steroids? … I think it would be much more interesting to know who hired Radomski, did they know what he was doing, and who were his contacts on other teams?”

I just suspect it’ll be another year or so, at least, before we actually see a report with names on it, and even then, I don’t trust MLB with it.

“The only question I have is whether or not Bud Selig will allow the leaking of the info prior to the playoffs and World Series or try and keep it all under wraps.”
Rollie Fingers’ Mustache
“It's only a matter of time before someone starts besmirching Radomski's name and credibility in an attempt to discredit his tips.”

  • The topic measured 4 out of 10 on The Buzz, indicating a medium level of interest.
  • Many bloggers feel that Selig may attempt to keep the names from being released, not necessarily to protect the players but his own reputation.
  • Bloggers wonder how fans will react to the current players who are named considering many will consider them "cheaters" regardless of their individual situations.
