Browns Cracking Down On
Fan Misconduct During Games |
The Browns have launched a “crackdown on fan misconduct” during games at Cleveland Browns Stadium after season-ticket holders “voiced concerns about fan behavior in off-season surveys conducted by the club,” according to Tony Grossi of the Cleveland PLAIN DEALER. Browns Vice Chair Bob Kain: “We’re stepping up our enforcement of reasonable behavior at games.” The official policy lists nine offenses that could lead to ejection, arrest and loss of tickets, and the team has also created a phone line for fans to anonymously report misbehavior. As part of the crackdown, the Browns will release a list of ejections and arrests after each home game. The team’s first preseason home game against the Chiefs on August 11 resulted in 86 ejections and eight arrests (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 8/19).
