The Jaguars extended a deal with WTEV-CBS for the next three seasons that includes the televising of preseason games, the “Jack Del Rio Show” and the “Jaguars Pregame Show” during the regular season. WTEV will also host a live studio show each Monday night during the season and air four specials (FLORIDA TIMES-UNION, 7/26).

SITE SURVEY: Chicago-based UnCommon Thinking created the first Web site for Galaxy MF David Beckham, davidbeckham.com, which went live July 13. The site is focused “as much on Beckham as a celebrity as it is on his soccer talent.” There is information about his hairstyles and tattoos, and next week a series of Webisodes will feature Beckham interviewing his teammates. More interactive content will be added next month (CHICAGO SUN-TIMES, 7/26)....Univ. of Hawaii QB Colt Brennan has launched a Heisman Trophy Web site and DVD (“College Football Live,” ESPN, 7/25).
NOTES: Skate Canada signed a four-year deal with CBC Sports to air event coverage including the BMO Financial Group Canadian championships and HomeSense Skate Canada. The new deal starts this season, which means CTV is out of skating for the first time since ’79 (OTTAWA SUN, 7/26)....The NHL Panthers have launched fan message boards on their official Web site (Panthers)....Takkle, a social networking site for high school sports, has secured additional financing from SI and the New York City Investment Fund (Takkle).
