Sports & Entertainment: Victoria Beckham's NBC Show Airs

NBC last night aired the 60-minute special, “Victoria Beckham: Coming to America,” featuring VICTORIA BECKHAM moving to L.A.  She and husband DAVID were shown posing for their racy photo shoot in the current issue of W magazine.  Also, Beckham’s new personal assistant, RENEE, told her the Dodgers wanted her to throw out the first pitch at a game.  Beckham: “What if I make them lose?”  Renee answered, “I don’t think your pitch is going to count.”  Beckham, admitting that she does not know much about baseball, said, “They wear tight trousers.  One member of the team actually wears some weird mask, which looks like what we saw in the sex shop.”  When she arrived at Dodger Stadium, she was greeted by TOMMY LASORDA, who was repeatedly heard asking people, “What’s her name?”  Her toss from well in front of the mound was far off the plate (NBC, 7/16).
