Holiday Spirit: Reebok Trots Out Themed Sneakers

Reebok has put out a limited number of St. Patrick’s Day-themed sneakers, including one with “Kiss Me I’m Irish” on the heel of its classic-leather, low-cut sneaker, and one with a small image of a pint of beer on its NPC-Platinum low-cut sneakers, according to Jay Fitzgerald of the BOSTON HERALD. Reebok “maintains the special sneakers -– going for $70 a pair -– are being targeted toward the men’s market, not boys,” and its “intent is only to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.” Reebok recently started the holiday-themed sales with a Valentine’s Day sneaker and will soon debut Easter-themed sneakers (BOSTON HERALD, 3/16).
