CAA Acquires Practice
Of LeBron James’ Agent |

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has acquired the practice of New Jersey-based NBA
agent LEON ROSE, giving the Hollywood talent firm a presence in representing
star athletes in all four American team sports. Rose’s clients include Cavaliers
F LEBRON JAMES, Nuggets G ALLEN IVERSON, Pistons G RICHARD HAMILTON
and last year’s No. 1 NBA Draft pick, Raptors F ANDREA BARGNANI. “Leon
has a well-deserved reputation for hard work and dedication to his clients,” said
CAA President RICHARD LOVETT, in a statement. “We are confident Leon will
fit seamlessly into our culture of collaboration, knowing that he shares our commitment
to creating unlimited possibilities for our clients.” Rose in a statement said,
“I am really excited to lead the growth effort for the basketball division of
CAA Sports. The vast resources CAA provides will surely create many new and unique
opportunities for our existing and future basketball clients.” In less than a
year, CAA has assembled through acquisitions a sports practice which represents
more than 350 athletes, including Colts QB PEYTON MANNING, Chargers RB
LADAINIAN TOMLINSON, Yankees SS DEREK JETER, Phillies 1B RYAN
HOWARD and Penguins C SIDNEY CROSBY.
