Ecco Using Pebble Beach Pro-Am To Launch $1M Ad Campaign
Ecco will launch a $1M ad campaign during next week’s AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am broadcast on Golf Channel and CBS, according to Scott Hamilton of GOLFWEEK. The spots, which will be supported with print ads, “are designed not only to promote its growing golf footwear business, but also link to its casual and dress lines.” The national campaign, Ecco’s first in the U.S., will be themed “Business is performance, performance is business.” The ads will feature Ecco golf endorsers Fred Couples and Colin Montgomerie, as well as Ladies European Tour player Anna Rawson, “wearing off-the-course clothes and sporting either Ecco’s casual or dress shoes” (GOLFWEEK, 2/3 issue).
