Ohio Univ., Mandalay Sports Team For Sports Sales Academy

Ohio University’s (OU) Center for Sports Administration and Mandalay Sports last night announced a partnership to create the first annual Ohio Univ. Sports Sales Academy. The Academy, held on the OU campus from June 11-15, will give attendees practical sales experience and feature sports industry experts, including Mandalay Sports Entertainment Pro Sports Team President JON SPOELSTRA, who said, “This is an excellent opportunity for us to work with students interested in careers in sports.” JIM KAHLER, Exec Dir of the Center for Sports Administration, will present on topics including sports industry sales and the issues that drive sales. Attendees can also attend a job fair on June 15. The cost will be $999 for non-OU students and $500 for OU students (THE DAILY).
