Cowboys WR TERRELL OWENS fired publicist KIM ETHEREDGE. Etheredge was a central figure in Owens’ reported overdose this season on pain medication — reported as a possible suicide attempt — and was “critical of the way police characterized her initial report and of the investigation itself.” At a press conference after the incident, she said, “Terrell has 25 million reasons why he should be alive” (FT. WORTH STAR-TELEGRAM, 1/8).
