TD Banknorth Garden Offers New Food Options To Fans
TD Banknorth Garden President John Wentzell said that new concessions offerings
represent a 25-30% change in the arena’s menu and a “dramatic expansion of food
choices,” according to Scott Van Voorhis of the BOSTON HERALD. Wentzell noted
that the new options represent “the first major culinary change at the arena in
years, expanding what had been a ‘narrow’ lineup dominated by hot dogs, sausages
and beer.” Van Voorhis notes the new Seaside Shack “provides an array of ocean
fare” with items such as shrimp cocktail, overstuffed clam rolls, New England
lobster rolls, fried clams, fish and chips and “Spicy Bay Fries.” Meanwhile, the
Pile High offers deli-style sandwiches and subs in the $7-8 range, along with
pastries from Boston’s North End. There is also a “full menu of Italian fare”
at the Campione Pizzeria, while the Fry Depot offers “Sassy Cream Cheese Jalapeno
Poppers,” “Cheesecake Chango” and “Johnny Applestick.” The menu changes “are just
one part of a sweeping, multimillion-dollar overhaul of the Garden” by arena and
Bruins Owner Delaware North (BOSTON
HERALD, 10/19).
