Union Federal Ending Sponsorship Of Colts’ Training Facility
|
Union Federal, which was acquired this week by Sky Bank, “will no longer pay for the naming rights” to the Colts’ practice facility, according to J.K. Wall of the INDIANAPOLIS STAR. Union Federal put its name on the facility in ’00, “at that time paying $800,000 a year.” Colts Senior VP/Sales & Marketing Tom Zupancic said that Sky will “maintain the value of its sponsorship by expanding the advertising it does on Colts’ TV and radio programs, as well as on signs at the RCA Dome and in a fan magazine, The Scout.” The practice center’s name will change back to the “Indianapolis Colts Training Facility,” and Zupancic said the Colts will look for a new naming-rights sponsor (INDIANAPOLIS STAR, 10/17).
