Creative Promotions: Chicago Fire's personalized bobble heads

Is this staff writer Chris Botta? Well, close enough.
The Chicago Fire came up with a captivating way to promote their Bobblehead Day promotion on July 7, when they host Sporting Kansas City. They mailed bobblehead dolls to reporters with a note that reads as follows:
#QuakerFuelsTheFire has created a Bobblehead just for you. Yep, you read that correctly. The Bobblehead staring back, nodding at you is, well, you.

OK, so maybe this reporter doesn't have blue eyes or hair that covers the entire top of his head — but that digital voice recorder is close enough, and the last name is spelled correctly on the back of the jersey.

Last season, the Fire put defender Austin Berry on the front of a Life cereal box to promote him as MLS Rookie of the Year. (He won the award and is also the subject of the bobblehead on July 7). Say this for the people on Chicago's marketing team: Their imagination is always firing.
