Pairing up for Mobil 1

ExxonMobil teamed with NASCAR and the NBA to bring fans an experiential event called Mobil 1 Annual Protection: “The Drive,” bringing back stars of the brand’s TV spot, NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick and NBA hall of famer Dikembe Mutombo. They capped off the event by giving one fan a drive through the streets of Manhattan with Harvick at the wheel of his street legal No. 4 Mobil 1 Annual Protection Ford Fusion.

A-Rod opens UFC Gym

At the grand opening of the UFC Gym in Kendall, Fla., on Aug. 10: UFC Gym President Adam Sedlack, gym owner and former MLB all-star Alex Rodriguez, UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and UFC Gym CEO Mark Mastrov. Rodriguez bought the Kendall location, his first, along with the developmental rights to Miami-Dade County in March.
