Colleges
The American Athletic Conference promoted Donna DeMarco to chief operating officer.

The Atlantic Coast Conference named Kevin Best senior associate commissioner for communications. Best was assistant athletic director for communications for the University of North Carolina.

The College Football Playoff promoted Laila Brock to senior director of operations and logistics.

The University of Arkansas-Little Rock promoted Molly Castner to senior woman administrator.

The University of Louisiana-Lafayette named Nico Yantko deputy athletic director for external operations. Yantko was associate athletic director for major gifts for the University of Missouri.

The University of Louisiana-Monroe named Nick Floyd athletic director. Floyd was executive associate athletic director for East Carolina University.

The University of Nevada-Las Vegas hired John Gladchuk as senior associate athletic director for external affairs. Gladchuk was executive director of corporate and foundation relations at Louisiana State University.

The University of North Carolina-Ashville hired Annette Medalie as assistant athletic director for business operations and finance. Medalie was assistant athletic director for business and finance at Northeastern University.

The University of Oregon named Jimmy Stanton senior associate athletic director for communications. Stanton was principal of LKP Strategies.

The Southland Conference named John Williams deputy commissioner and moved Edd Henderson to senior associate commissioner for internal operations, Jenny McGhee to senior associate commissioner for external operations, Bruce Ludlow to associate commissioner for sports operations, Chris Mycoskie to associate commissioner for broadcast and new media; John Payne to director of business operations and Travis Day to information director. George Stieren, associate commissioner for strategic communications, will take on administrative and championship duties in women’s soccer.

The University of Tennessee hired Kurt Gulbrand as senior associate athletic director of development. Gulbrand was associate athletic director of development for the University of Colorado.

The University of Texas promoted LaToya Smith to senior associate athletic director for student services.

The University of Wisconsin promoted Chris McIntosh to deputy athletic director.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee hired Ron Reeves as assistant athletic director for ticket sales and event operations, and Jake Hoepfner as coordinator of game operations and facilities. Reeves was director of ticket operations for the University of North Carolina.

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater named Todd Garzarelli athletic director. Garzarelli was senior associate athletic director for external affairs for the University at Buffalo.

West Virginia University named Eric Buda assistant athletic director for annual giving, Doug Wallace major gifts officer and Ryan Riddle assistant director of donor relations and special events, and promoted Jamie Hall to director of donor relations and special events.

Orlando Venues hired Kevin Brown as booking and venue development division manager.

TD Garden Vice President of Events Steve Nazro retired.

Los Angeles Chargers Chief Marketing Officer Ken Derrett resigned.

Golf
The Web.com Tour Nashville Golf Open named Charlie Clarkson tournament director.

Hockey
Arizona Coyotes President and CEO Anthony LeBlanc and Gary Drummond, president of hockey operations, have resigned. The team named general counsel Ahron Cohen chief operating officer and appointed Cohen and general manager John Chayka alternate governors.

The Buffalo Sabres hired Randy Sexton and Steve Greeley as assistant general managers and made Sexton the general manager of the Rochester Americans. Sexton was Pittsburgh Penguins amateur scouting director, and Greeley was New York Rangers assistant director of player personnel.

The Columbus Blue Jackets named Victoria King partnership activation specialist and promoted Morgan Obendorfer to premium seating account executive and Emily Auker and Richard Grimshaw to season ticket account specialists.

The Edmonton Oilers promoted Scott Howson to vice president of player development.

The Florida Panthers named former NHLer Chris Pronger senior adviser to the president of hockey operations.

The Los Angeles Kings hired Drew Solomon as event sales account executive.

Learfield hired Luke Reiff as general manager at the University of Illinois. Reiff was Learfield’s general manager at the University of Toledo.

Formula One named Ellie Norman head of marketing. Norman was head of advertising and sponsorship for Virgin Media.

David Higdon left his position as NASCAR vice president of integrated marketing communications.

Motorsports public relations firm Sunday Group Management named J.J. O’Malley outreach specialist.

Skateboarding
Street League Skateboarding named C.J. Olivares chief executive officer. Olivares was founder and co-CEO of Fuel TV.

Soccer
Los Angeles FC named Seth Burton vice president of communications. Burton was vice president of communications for the Los Angeles Clippers.

Sports Commissions and Tourism Boards
The San Jose Sports Authority named John Poch executive director. Poch was deputy athletic director for external operations for San Jose State University.

Other
Like a Pro named Kathy Dahlman controller and Peter Soumas as athlete success coach.

INZERELLO
St. Vincent Sports Performance named Nick Inzerello director of sports performance. Inzerello was senior director of partnerships and education for USA Football.

Sportradar moved Steve Byrd to head of global partnerships and James Henegan head of digital sales and named Jason Sukhraj senior vice president of sales and business development.

Outdoor Sportsman Group promoted Sean Luxton to senior vice president and general manager.
