Basketball
The Los Angeles Lakers promoted Allison Howard to vice president of corporate partnerships.

Colleges
Nicholls State University named Lindsey McKaskle executive associate athletic director for internal affairs. McKaskle was the assistant athletic director for compliance and student success and senior woman administrator for Eastern Kentucky University.

University of Tennessee-Chattanooga Athletic Director David Blackburn resigned.

The University of Alabama named J Batt senior associate athletic director of development. Batt was senior associate athletic director and Pirate Club executive director for East Carolina University.

The University of Connecticut hired Corrie Schantz as associate athletic director for strategic marketing and fan engagement. Schantz was assistant athletic director of marketing for the University of Texas.

Presbyterian College hired Danny Sterling as athletic director. Sterling was athletic director for the University of Virginia—Wise.

The University of Pennsylvania promoted Tim Folan to senior associate athletic director of development and alumni relations.

STAUFER

TD Garden named Eric Staufer vice president of events. Staufer was the division manager of event services for Orlando’s Camping World Stadium and Amway Center.

SMG Canada named Nick DeLuco general manager of its Moncton (New Brunswick) Downtown Centre. DeLuco was assistant general manager of the SMS-managed Rogers K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ontario.

Football
The Carolina Panthers named Rob Hanrahan pro scout and David Turner BLESTO scout and promoted Bryan Porter to director of football operations and Mike Anderson to assistant director of football operations.

The NFL hired Dawn Aponte as chief football administrative officer. Aponte was executive vice president of football administration with the Miami Dolphins.

Golf
Kym Houghman stepped down from his position as executive director of the PGA Tour’s Wells Fargo Championship.

The PGA Tour’s Northern Trust hired Julie Tyson as executive director. Tyson was a senior vice president for the PGA Tour.

Hockey
The Chicago Blackhawks named Lyndsey Stroope public relations manager. Stroope was an account supervisor at Zeno Group.

The Florida Panthers promoted Bryan McCabe to director of player personnel.

Los Angeles Kings Chief Operating Officer Kelly Cheeseman added alternate governor to his title. The Kings hired Rob Koch as director of team operations. Koch was the director of communications and social media at USA Hockey.

EDDY

The NHL named Allison Eddy director of business development for clubs and Max Paulsen director of business development. Eddy was director of community outreach for the San Diego Padres, and Paulsen was director of sales for Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment.

The Worcester (Mass.) Railers of the ECHL named Paul Harris community relations coordinator.

Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment Chief Sales Officer Doug Smoyer resigned.

Wasserman hired Rafa Nieves as vice president of baseball.

ESPN promoted Connor Schell to executive vice president of content. Marie Donoghue, executive vice president of global business and content strategy, and John Kosner, executive vice president of digital and print media, are leaving the company. College networks communications manager Gracie Blackburn left the company.

MediaScience hired Artie Bulgrin as executive vice president of strategy and insights. Bulgrin was senior vice president of global research and analytics for ESPN.

Motorsport Network named Colin Smith chief executive officer. Smith was vice president NASCAR Digital Media.

Runner’s World hired Betty Wong Ortiz as editor-in-chief. Ortiz was director of editorial strategy and operations at Bon Appetit and Epicurious.

Doug Duchardt, executive vice president and general manager of Hendrick Motorsports, is leaving the company.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing named Tom Knox senior vice president of sales and marketing. Knox was senior vice president of business development for CSM Sport & Entertainment.

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment hired Declan Bolger as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Bolger was vice president of club service for MLS.

Olympics
LA 2024 named Jared Schott director of international relations and assistant general counsel, Lenny Abbey director of national Olympic and Paralympic committee relations and operations, and Andrew Chatzky international relations manager.

Toyota hired Dedra DeLilli group manager of its Olympic marketing activation. Delilli was director of marketing and corporate sponsorship for TD Ameritrade.

Soccer
The San Jose Earthquakes named Tom Fox president. Fox was chief executive officer at Aston Villa.

Other
Executive search firm Nolan Partners hired Stewart King as head of performance. King was a senior consultant at Elite Performance.

Peak Achievement Athletics hired Tony Palma as chief executive officer of Easton Diamond Sports. Palma was chief executive officer of Ogio International.

Donna Goldsmith will step down as Tough Mudder senior vice president of partnership marketing, international event licensing, corporate sales and merchandising.

Data management firm Umbel hired Mike Malo as vice president of business development. Malo was vice president of brand and marketing for the San Antonio Spurs.

Drug Free Sport named John Luther vice president of finance and administration. Luther was senior director and controller for the Kansas City Royals.
