Baseball
MountainStar Sports Group promoted Brad Taylor to vice president of the company and the Class AAA Pacific Coast League’s El Paso Chihuahuas.

The Class AAA Pacific Coast League’s Memphis Redbirds promoted Mark Anderson to senior director of stadium and baseball operations, and hired Mike Voutsinas as senior director of corporate sales and marketing. Voutsinas was general manager for the Class A New York-Penn League’s Auburn Doubledays.

The Class A Advanced California League’s Stockton (Calif.) Ports promoted Luke Johnson to director of group sales and promotions and Justice Hoyt to group sales manager, and hired Hannah Baber as graphic and web design manager, Allie Bakalar as community relations manager, Markus Hagglund as box office manager and Owen Wilson as an account executive in stadium operations.

The Miami Heat and AmericanAirlines Arena promoted Matthew Jafarian to vice president of mobile strategy and innovation.

Colleges
The Southeastern Conference promoted Charlie Hussey to chief operating officer, Chris Waldsmith to associate commissioner for finance, Sylvia Hagan Barnes to director of officiating administration, Cole Cunningham to director of video operations and Brett Thompson to associate director of marketing and competition. The conference hired Randall Malone as director of video operations for basketball and Mike Mims as assistant director of championship ticket operations.

West Virginia University promoted Kevin Miller to associate athletic director for major gifts and capital campaigns for the Mountaineer Athletic Club.

Football
The San Francisco 49ers hired Colin Potter as account executive for partnership sales.

The Buffalo Bills hired Derek Boyko as vice president of communications. Scott Berchtold will shift to the role of special assistant. Boyko was director of public relations for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The American Hockey League’s Chicago Wolves hired Timothy Weaver as senior manager of corporate partnerships and media sales.

Law
Latham & Watkins promoted sports lawyer Adam Sullins to partner.

Marketing
Sunday Group Management promoted Julie Conlin to senior account manager.

ANC named Kirk Vanderheijden motion graphics designer, Weston Hedin a field representative for Seattle, Josh Mandell a field representative for Notre Dame and Taylor Walgren administrative assistant for projects and operations.

Tandem Sports & Entertainment promoted Katherine O’Toole to public relations manager.

Tripleplay hired Scott Russak as a regional sales manager based in its New York office.

Turner Sports promoted Matt Hong to chief operating officer.

Formula One promoted Norman Howell to director of global communications.

The International Olympic Committee named Christian Voigt vice president of marketing development.

Soccer
Liverpool FC hired Markus Breglec as marketing director. Breglec was vice president of marketing and sponsorships for HTC.

Fulham FC promoted Brian Talbot as assistant director of football operations and chief scout and Craig Kline to assistant director of football operations and director of statistical research, and named Tony Khan vice chairman and director of football operations.

Beyond Monumental hired Jed Cornforth as executive director. Cornforth was director of strategy and business analysis for USA Football.

The McGowan Insurance Cos. added Jim Convertino and his Professional Athletes & Entertainers Insurance Solutions Practice to their insurance firm.

SRiCheyenne named Jay Hussey chief executive officer and Pat Mastandrea vice chairman.

Awards and Boards
The Heritage Classic Foundation named Doug Smith chairman for the 2017 RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing tournament.
