Baseball
The Arizona Diamondbacks hired Mike Fitzgerald as director of research and development. Fitzgerald was a quantitative analyst for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Class AAA International League’s Indianapolis Indians hired Charlie Henry as director of communications.

Basketball
The Chicago Sky hired Amber Stocks as head coach and general manager.

Roger Mason Jr. was named president and commissioner of BIG3, a three-on-three, half-court basketball league. Mason was deputy executive director of the National Basketball Players Association.

Colleges
Oregon State University hired Scott Barnes as vice president and athletic director. Barnes was athletic director at the University of Pittsburgh.

The NCAA hired Felicia Martin as vice president of the NCAA Eligibility Center. Martin was senior associate athletic director for academics, student services and sports administration at Texas Tech University.

The University of Denver hired Brandon Macneill as associate vice chancellor for external affairs and vice chancellor for athletics. Macneill was executive associate athletic director for external affairs at Tulane University.

The University of Georgia hired Matt Borman as executive associate athletic director for development. Borman was senior associate athletic director and executive director of the Mountaineer Athletic Club at West Virginia University.

The University of Iowa’s senior associate athletic director for sports administration and operations, Paula Jantz, will retire Feb. 1.

The University of San Diego named Bill McGillis associate vice president and athletic director. McGillis was athletic director at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Portland State University hired Valerie Cleary athletic director. Cleary was athletic director at Willamette University.

Facilities
Atlanta Motor Speedway promoted Allison Fillmore to vice president of sales, Dustin Bixby to vice president of marketing and promotion, Rebecca Reid to vice president of ticket operations, Kristi Wilson to senior director of administrative services, Kyle Nelson to event logistics manager, Kim Snider to business development manager, Rodney Fordham to grandstand and building operations manager, and Geoff Reed to infield operations manager.

SCHNEIDER
Delaware North Sportservice named Richard Schneider chief operating officer. Schneider was chief operating officer for Delaware North’s travel business.

Dover International Speedway promoted Gary Camp to assistant vice president of marketing and communications and Rob Lofland to assistant vice president of business development.

Rossetti promoted Deena Fox to director of project leadership, Dan Soleski to principal, and Tony Reiner, Katie Miller and Kirk Phillips to associates.

Football
The Canadian Football League’s Montreal Alouettes hired Patrick Boivin as president and chief executive officer and promoted Kavis Reed to general manager.

TD Garden and the Boston Bruins named Lou Murray senior vice president of business operations for TD Garden and Josh Brickman vice president of business strategy for the Bruins and TD Garden. Murray was vice president of creative entertainment for The Walt Disney Co., and Brickman was vice president of strategy and research for Monumental Sports and Entertainment.

The Los Angeles Kings named Ashley Grossman a sales representative and hired Kyle Burkhardt as director of business intelligence, Michael Marsocci as manager of data analytics, Morgan Poulsen as an account executive and Justin Bishop as a sales representative.

Hockey Canada named Scott Smith to replace Tom Renney as president and chief operating officer, effective July 1. Renney will remain with the organization as chief executive officer.

MCCORD
The Chicago Blackhawks named Tovah McCord its foundation director. McCord was regional director of The Kitchen Community.

The Florida Panthers hired Thomas Drance as vice president of communications and public relations.

The Vegas Golden Knights hired Eric Tosi as vice president of communications and content. Tosi was director of communications and content for the Boston Bruins.

Lacrosse
United Women’s Lacrosse League Commissioner Michele DeJuliis stepped down from her position.

Major League Lacrosse’s Atlanta Blaze hired Jim Pfeifer as president. Pfeifer was vice president of partnership and broadcasting for the Atlanta Hawks.

Law
Esports lawyer Bryce Blum launched his own firm, Electronic Sports & Gaming Law.

Marketing
The Aspire Group promoted Sally Folz to group sales consultant and Cameron Ilich to senior sales consultant and hired Julianne Collie and Jacob Gmazel as new sales consultants for its Georgia Tech property.

DOOLEY
CSE hired Jason Dooley as art director. Dooley was a designer and animator for CBS Sports Network.

Independent Sports & Entertainment named David Bauman senior vice president and assistant general counsel of the company and general counsel for the company’s sports agency division.

ANC named Ashleigh Beadle human resources manager.

Bryan Bedford launched sports consulting firm The Bedford Agency.

WARWICK
Intersport hired Stacey Vollman Warwick as senior vice president and general manager and Rick Kloiber as senior vice president for strategic solutions. Warwick was head of innovation for JPMorgan Chase, and Kloiber was head of agency partnerships for Create.It.

Catalyst Sports & Media hired Avi Bhuiyan as executive vice president of esports.

IMG promoted Sam Zussman to president of its events group.

Learfield named Nic Valentino general manager at Temple University. Valentino was general manager for IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions’ business at Temple.

Learfield named to its team at the University of California, Berkeley: Dan Lentz director of sales, Matthew Gallagher senior manager of business development, Grayson Farrar and Vanessa Farinelli managers of business development, Katie Fontes manager of partnership services and Rachel Bootsma partnership services coordinator.

Pivot Marketing Agency hired Rebecca Murdy as vice president of brand and marketing. Murdy was director of digital production for Octagon.

Premier Partnerships promoted in its New York office Jason Miller to executive vice president of corporate partnerships, Spencer Wolf to senior director of marketing services and Terry Tsouratakis to senior manager of corporate partnerships. Michael Freedman was promoted to manager of consulting and valuation in the Chicago office, and in Los Angeles Lewis Fisher was promoted to manager of marketing services and Kevin Mann to coordinator of corporate partnerships.

Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment promoted Glenn Isralsky to account executive and hired Max Paulsen as director of media and properties. Paulsen was business development manager for the NFL.

Media
Fox Networks Group Asia named Italo Zanzi executive vice president and managing director for its sports network. Zanzi was chief executive officer for Italian Serie A football club AS Roma.

The Big Ten Network promoted Michael Calderon to senior vice president of programming and digital media and Quentin Carter to vice president of studio production.

Speedway Motorsports promoted Gerry Horn to senior vice president of sales for the SMI-owned Performance Racing Network.

Kevin Driscoll was named social media director for Sports Illustrated. Driscoll was deputy social media editor for DailyMail.com.

Wikia hired Dorth Raphaely as senior vice president of content for Fandom. Raphaely was formerly general manager for Bleacher Report.

USA Volleyball hired Jamie Davis as chief executive officer.

Soccer
The United Soccer League hired Leonardo Santiago as vice president of marketing and communications. Santiago was vice president of communications for the North American Soccer League’s Miami FC.
 
The National Women’s Soccer League hired Amanda Duffy as managing director of operations. Duffy was president of the USL’s Louisville City FC.

DI MARI
Major League Soccer hired Stephanie Di Mari as a senior manager for retail development. Di Mari was a marketing manager for Ralph Lauren.

The Los Angeles Football Club hired Jaime Kelm as manager for corporate partnership strategy. Kelm was a media relations and sports information assistant at San Diego State University.

Sporting Goods and Apparel
Asics America named Barbara Turner vice president of human resources and Lisa Hatton Harrington general counsel.

Wincraft promoted John Killen to chief executive officer.

Sports Commissions and Tourism Boards
The Detroit Sports Commission hired Crista Tompson as sports sales manager. Tompson was director of sales and marketing for the Century Center, an SMG property, in South Bend, Ind.

The BNP Paribas Open and the Indian Wells Tennis Garden hired Philippe Dore as media and marketing director.

Other
UFC hired Andrew Schleimer as chief financial officer. Schleimer was executive vice president and chief financial officer for Digital Turbine.

Team Services promoted Evin Gordon to senior director, Travis Lane to director and Marissa Paulsen to manager. The agency also hired Aki Thomas as a director and Ben Richardson as a coordinator.

The NFL Foundation named to its board of directors Susie Spanos, philanthropist and wife of San Diego Chargers Chairman Dean Spanos, and Steve Tisch, New York Giants chairman and executive vice president.

The United States Sports Academy named Sir Craig Reedie, World Anti-Doping Agency president and IOC vice president, the 2016 Eagle Award recipient.

Collegiate Sports Management Group named Donna Orender, chief executive officer of Orender Unlimited, to its board of advisers.

The Minnesota Wild Foundation named Crystal Boudreau and Christopher Leipold to its board of directors.
