Baseball
The Indianapolis Indians named Bruce Schumacher chairman of the board and chief executive officer and Randy Lewandowski president and general manager.
 
Colleges
The American Athletic Conference named Eric Ziady chief financial officer. Ziady was athletic director at the University of Delaware.  
 
Arizona State University named Glenn Wong director of the sports law and business program at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, effective Jan. 1.  
 
Rider University named Greg Ott sports communications director. Ott was Monmouth University assistant athletic director for communications.  
 
Syracuse University named Chris Fuller deputy athletic director for external operations and Kristen Jones Kolod deputy athletic director and chief financial officer. Fuller was University of Tennessee senior associate athletic director for external operations, and Jones Kolod was executive director of budget and administrative operations for student affairs at Syracuse.  
 
Utah State University named Andrew Dickinson assistant athletic director for major gifts. 

Liberty University Athletic Director Jeff Barber resigned.

Sonoma Raceway promoted Diana Brennan to vice president of communications and marketing.

Spectra promoted Michael Ahearn to senior vice president of operations for Spectra Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality.

Steve Hill was named Clark County (Nev.) Stadium Authority chairman. Hill is executive director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.

The NFL Alumni Association named Julie Nelson manager of communications and membership engagement. Nelson was in the Cleveland Browns communications department.

Hockey
The American Hockey League promoted Jonathan Forsberg to director of team business services and named Emily Vance coordinator of business analytics. 

The Buffalo Sabres named former player Patrick Kaleta youth hockey ambassador.

Lacrosse

GEICK
The National Lacrosse League hired Tyson Geick as digital content producer and reporter, and Wesley Uhler as digital communications coordinator. Geick was a host and anchor for Rogers TV Peel, and Uhler was a sports producer for CBS Radio Philadelphia.

Marketing
Pivot Marketing Agency named Pat Cassidy managing director of sports properties.
 
PPI Marketing named Mark Winneker president. Winneker also works with MVPindex as a business development consultant.

Team Epic promoted Denadjae Combs and Lauren Kelleher to vice president.

ESPN named Joyee Biswas head of Southeast Asia, Kelly Cooke general manager of ESPN North Asia, Bowen Dou coordinating producer of international production, Michael Huang deputy editor of ESPN Digital and Print Media and Marc Mallett director of sponsorship and ad sales for ESPN APAC.

Turner promoted Laura Dames to executive vice president and general manager of Turner Studios.  
 
CBS Radio named Matthew Siegel chief financial officer. Siegel was Time Warner Cable co-chief financial officer and treasurer.  
 
KSDK-TV in St. Louis named Frank Cusumano sports director.

The British Olympic Association named Tim Ellerton commercial director. Ellerton was Heineken global sponsorship manager.

The French Professional Football League named Nathalie Boy de la Tour president. 

CONCACAF named Alejandro Lesende chief financial and administration officer. Lesende was a strategic adviser for new business development in Latin America for the Clorox Co.  
 
MLS expansion team Minnesota United named John Guagliano senior vice president of marketing and communications. The team also named Amos Magee director of player personnel.  
 
Sporting Goods and Apparel
Jay Piccola will retire as Puma North America president and general manager in mid-2017.
 
Sports Commissions and Tourism Boards

SNOW
Polk County (Fla.) Tourism and Sports Marketing named Al Snow tourism sales representative for meetings, conventions and events. Snow was responsible for business development and execution of meetings, conventions and special events in Polk County.  
 
Other
The U.S. Center for SafeSport named Shellie Pfohl chief executive officer. Pfohl was executive director of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition.
 
Alliance MMA named Burt Watson director of fighter relations. Watson was head of fighter relations at Cage Fury Fighting Championships.

The Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation named Joe Rossow executive vice president of operations. 
 
Mobile ticketing outlet Gametime named Larry Martin senior vice president of business development. Martin was ScoreBig senior vice president of sales.

World Sailing elected Kim Andersen president.

Quiksilver named Franck Riboud an independent director on its board of directors.

Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles named Chad Biagini to its board of directors.  

Jim Richerson was elected secretary of the PGA of America. Richerson is general manager and group director of golf at Kohler Co.’s Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run golf courses.
