The Toronto Blue Jays hired Ben Cherington as vice president of baseball operations. Cherington was executive vice president and general manager for the Boston Red Sox.

The Class AAA International League’s Charlotte Knights hired Rob Egan as general manager of baseball operations. Egan was general manager for the Class AA Eastern League’s Altoona Curve.

ETHERIDGE
The Baltimore Ravens named Brandon Etheridge general counsel. Etheridge previously worked for the NFL Management Council.

Lacrosse
The National Lacrosse League hired Stephanie McGinley as digital communications manager. McGinley was digital project manager for CBS Radio Group.

Marketing
WME-IMG hired Gary Krakower as vice president of licensing. Krakower was a licensing agent for Creative Artists Agency.

CSE Talent hired Danny Martoe as president. Martoe was a manager for entertainment accounting and business management firm Nigro, Karlin, Segal, Feldstein and Bolno.

Golden Boy Promotions promoted Eric Gomez to president.

Media
Raycom Sports hired Chris Kirby as an account executive. Kirby was director of marketing for Petty Holdings.

AEG named Joyce Szudzik vice president of digital and social media. Szudzik was vice president of digital and social media for AEG Live.

AEG Live hired Brooke Kain as chief digital officer. Kain was head of digital marketing for Apple Music and iTunes.

Fox Networks Group’s Toby Byrne is stepping down from his position as president of ad sales.

Other
Prodigy Sports hired Arin Segal as an associate.
