SLATUS
The Class A New York-Penn League’s Aberdeen (Md.) IronBirds hired Matt Slatus as general manager. Slatus was director of marketing and partnerships for Camelback Ranch in Arizona.

Colleges
Conference USA promoted Keisha Dunlap to senior associate commissioner, Clifton Douglass to assistant commissioner for sports services, Kelly Ninemire to senior director of sports services, Jordan Foreman to director of multimedia and Taylor Brasher to digital and social media coordinator.

Appalachian State University hired Zeke Beam as associate athletic director for strategic communications. Beam was assistant athletic director for media at Charleston Southern University.

Arizona State University hired Scott Nelson as senior associate athletic director and executive director of the Sun Devil Club. Nelson was associate athletic director for development at Oregon State University.

Auburn University hired Marcy Girton as chief operating officer. Girton was deputy athletic director at Texas A&M University.

Boston College added the role of senior woman administrator to the responsibilities of deputy athletic director Jaime Seguin and promoted Steve Novak to senior associate athletic director for development and strategic initiatives, Marcus Blossom to senior associate athletic director for business and administration and Carly Pariseau to associate athletic director for compliance and student support services. Novak and Blossom were also named members of the department’s executive team.

Hofstra University hired Kevin Barry as senior director for athletic development, Andrea Murphy as director for athletic development and Shaun Rutherford assistant director of athletic development and special events.

The University of Missouri named Jim Sterk athletic director and Brian Brown assistant athletic director for the Mizzou Made program. Sterk was athletic director at San Diego State University, and Brown was associate athletic director and director of the Drake Relays at Drake University.

Brigham Young University named Greg Wrubell director of broadcast media. Wrubell has been a BYU radio analyst for 25 years.

Purdue University named Mike Bobinski athletic director. Bobinski was athletic director at Georgia Tech.

The University of Vermont promoted Cathy Rahill to associate athletic director for student athlete and staff development and senior woman administrator and Roxanne McDonald to associate athletic director for business operations. The university hired Ed Hockenbury as associate athletic director for internal operations, Alex Blanchard as coordinator for event management and scheduling and Nora King as director of fan engagement.

Facilities
Badlands Motor Speedway promoted Tom Savage to general manager.

Football
The NFL named Julie Haddon senior vice president of marketing for NFL Media. Haddon was CEO of The Marketing Farm.

Hockey
The Arizona Coyotes named Josh Margulies vice president of marketing. Margulies was director of marketing and product marketing for Viewics.

The Edmonton Oilers named Keith Gretzky assistant general manager. Gretzky was director of amateur scouting for the Boston Bruins. The team also named Frank Jay and P.J. Fenton amateur scouts and Andre Brin manager of hockey communications and research, and promoted Kelly Buchberger to vice president of player development, Duane Sutter to vice president of player personnel, Justin Mahe to manager of hockey analysis and Shawn May to manager of hockey communications and media relations.

The ECHL hired Dan Petrino as manager of hockey administration. Petrino was assistant commissioner for championships for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.

Black Knights Sports & Entertainment, parent company of the Las Vegas NHL team, named Katy Boettinger director of hockey administration, Misha Donskov director of hockey operations and Andrew Lugerner director of hockey legal affairs.

Labor and Agents
The National Basketball Players Association named Eric Rhodes director of security. Rhodes was CEO of The Investigative Firm.

Law
Gerard Fox Law hired Aaron Swerdlow as an attorney in the sports and business law group in its Los Angeles office. Swerdlow was general counsel for Kauffman Sports Management Group.

Marketing
The Bruno Event Team named DeeDee Mathis senior vice president of marketing. Mathis was vice president of digital sales for Community Newspaper Holdings.

Team Epic promoted Adam Hofmeister to senior manager, Kate Metcalf and Kelly Feiweles to manager and Lauren Hoffman and Rikuto Amao-Fukada to associate. Riley Sherer was hired as an associate for digital.

Media
Reuters hired Joshua Duboff as product manager for the sports and entertainment verticals.

Telemundo named Derek Gamble director of World Cup and Olympic sales. Gamble was director of media sales and partnerships for Major League Soccer.

Multiteam Companies
Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment promoted Leo Ehrline to executive vice president and chief experience officer and Randy Lewis to vice president of business strategy and analytics. Alexa Atria was named director of partnership marketing for Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Olympics and NGBs
USA Track & Field named David Gadis chief revenue officer, Donald Woodard deputy general counsel, Robin Beamon director of outreach and grassroots programs, Ashley Mitchell marketing and communications manager, Leah Testa merchandise and retail operations manager and Michael Roessler merchandise coordinator. The organization also promoted Jill Geer to chief marketing officer and Adam Schmenk to managing director of entertainment properties and events.

Sports Commissions and Tourism Boards
The Florida Sports Foundation hired Elissa DiCampli as an executive assistant. DiCampli was with government relations consulting firm Capitol Alliance Group.

Technology
EverFi promoted Ira Frankel to senior vice president of marketing.

Other
ANC promoted Michael Hopkins to senior vice president of external communications, Colleen Brace to senior vice president of sales and venue services and Mary Gray to sales administrator. It also named Neil Freeman lead technician in Seattle and Jennifer Guhl public relations and marketing specialist.

Search engine HYPR named Mike Solomon senior manager of business operations. Solomon was experiential producer and account manager for Engine Shop.

Awards and Boards
The National Foundation on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition named Ike Lawrence Epstein, UFC senior executive vice president and chief operating officer, to its board of directors.
