Barnes, Hendrickson to lead Relativity Sports’ NFL practice

Relativity Sports has named veteran agents Roosevelt Barnes and Doug Hendrickson co-presidents of Relativity Football, the agency’s NFL representation practice.

Barnes and Hendrickson replace Eugene Parker, who died March 31 after a brief battle with kidney cancer. Ron Burkle, chairman of Relativity Sports, made the announcement.

“While we remain deeply saddened by the loss of Eugene Parker, we are fortunate to have two incredible agents and people already on our team that will ensure we remain an industry leader and provide the very best for our clients,” Burkle said.

Barnes is the longtime business partner and lifelong friend of Parker. “We will celebrate and honor Eugene’s legacy by continuing to handle everything with the same grace and humility that he always showed,” Barnes said.

Hendrickson joined Relativity Sports in 2014 from Octagon. “We are all still feeling the loss of a great man, dear friend and colleague in Eugene Parker and are honored to follow such an amazing individual in leading Relativity Football,” Hendrickson said.

Relativity Football represents dozens of NFL players, including Larry Fitzgerald, Alshon Jeffery, Cameron Jordan, Marcus Peters, Allen Robinson, Desmond Trufant and Sammy Watkins.
