Baseball
The Washington Nationals hired Dan Jennings as special assistant to the president of baseball operations and general manager. Jennings was general manager of the Miami Marlins.

The Philadelphia Phillies hired Pat Gillick as senior adviser and Ned Rice as assistant general manager, moved Benny Looper to senior adviser for international operations and promoted Scott Freedman to director of baseball operations.

The Cleveland Indians and Ramon Pena, director of Latin America operations, have parted ways.

The Class A Stockton (Calif.) Ports promoted Tim Pollack to assistant general manager.

The Toronto Blue Jays hired Mike Murov as director of baseball operations. Murov was assistant director of major league operations for the Boston Red Sox.

USA Baseball named Matt Blood director for the U-18 team.

Colleges
Jacksonville University promoted Alex Ricker-Gilbert to senior associate athletic director.

The College of the Holy Cross hired Kirsten Britton as associate athletic director of facilities, operations and events. Britton was assistant athletic director for event management at the University of Connecticut.

Georgia Southern University promoted Larry Mays to associate athletic director for external affairs.

The University of Hawaii hired Lois Manin as director of football operations. Manin was deputy manager at Aloha Stadium.

Florida A&M University hired Elliott Charles as deputy athletic director. Charles was associate athletic director for compliance at the University of South Florida.

Facilities
Venue Coalition named executive vice president Andrew Prince partner.

Bristol Motor Speedway hired Chris Lawyer as communications manager. Lawyer was media relations manager for the NHRA.

The Miami Dolphins promoted Ryan Norys to senior director of corporate partnerships and named Samantha Coghill to the same position. Coghill was vice president at W Partners.

The Detroit Lions hired Kyle O’Brien as director of player personnel and let go senior personnel executive Scott McEwen.

The Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee hired Britt Carlson as senior director of partnerships, Adrienne Jordan as director of special projects, Jacob Miller as vice president of operations and Alex Tittle as vice president of Business Connect and corporate affairs.

Hockey
The Los Angeles Kings hired Jeff Webster as director of partnership sales.

The Columbus Blue Jackets promoted Noah Heiber and Taylor Kuehl to season-ticket account executives.

Old Mutual Wealth hired Mike Mainwaring as head of sponsorship. Mainwaring led sponsorship strategy for sportswear firm Canterbury.

Learfield Sports promoted Katie Davison to vice president of digital operations and named Andrew Stuebner general manager at the University of Massachusetts.

GroundSwell Group hired Noel Wax as president. Wax was vice president of sports sales for CBS Radio.

Thuzio promoted Nicholas Spike and John Turnbull to senior vice presidents of business development.

U/S Sports Advisors promoted Kyle Richert to manager of marketing and events and hired Ryan Gazdacka as brand coordinator.

MWWPR hired Bret Werner as chief client officer and executive vice president. Werner was senior vice president and managing director for Catalyst IMG.
