The Milwaukee Brewers hired Regis Bane to vice president of ticket services and analytics.

The Houston Astros promoted Quinton McCracken to director of player personnel, Brandon Taubman to director of baseball operations, Mike Fast to director of research and development, Allen Rowin to director of minor league operations, Bill Firkus to director of sports medicine and performance, Pete Putila to assistant director of minor league operations and Tom Koch-Weser to manager of advance scouting.

The Minnesota Timberwolves promoted Annie Eversman to senior account executive for membership services, Kate Johnson to senior account executive for group events, Jared Hensch to group events program supervisor, Emma Sandstrom to senior account executive for Lynx sales and service, Whitney Fisher to account executive for Lynx sales and service, Chris Mitko and Matt Schafer to account executives for season memberships, Laura Janquart to business development manager, Emily Pelant to ticket sales and service coordinator, Conor Noonan to premium sales manager, John Torris to manager of inside sales and Ashley Heinlein to manager of membership services.

The National Basketball Players Association hired Jared Zwerling as senior multimedia writer.

Colleges
Florida Gulf Coast University hired Tom Scott as director of athletics advancement. Scott was assistant athletic director of development at East Tennessee State University.

Syracuse University hired Mark Wheeler as compliance director.  

The Summit League hired Ricky Babcock as assistant commissioner of sports and championships. Babcock was assistant director of athletic facilities at College of the Holy Cross.

Facilities
Kent County (Del.) Regional Sports Complex hired Rob Smith as executive director. Smith was vice president of soccer development and community relations for the Philadelphia Union.

Hockey
The Columbus Blue Jackets hired Ben Harrison as marketing manager.

Marketing
Wunderman hired Jamie Gutfreund as global chief marketing officer.

Learfield Sports hired Nicholas Williams general manager at Manhattan College.

The Specialized Marketing Group hired Lindsey Gerba in marketing and Lauren Etten and Sarah Jaworski in promotions.

Media
The Las Vegas Review-Journal hired Bill Bradley as sports editor. Bradley was contributing editor and sole content manager for NFL Digital Media.

Fox Sports Regional Networks named John Hefner vice president of production and coordinating producer. Hefner was Time Warner Cable Sports Regional Networks senior producer.

Univision Communications hired John Eck as chief local media officer.

The NHRA hired Tyler Schulze as vice president and chief financial officer.

PFANDER
Fast Forward Sports Group named Jim Pfander president. Pfander will continue in his duties as general manager and chief operating officer of the Class AA Eastern League’s Akron (Ohio) RubberDucks.

Miller Sports Properties promoted Ian McDonald to vice president of finance, Randy Wright to vice president of financial reporting and risk management, and Nathan Kenyon to vice president of business analytics and reporting.

AEG Sports hired Michal Olszewski as manager of digital media.

The Madison Square Garden Co. hired John Caparella as executive vice president of venue management and Donna Coleman as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Olympics
The Rome 2024 Olympic Bid Committee appointed Fabio Guadagnini as director of communications.

Brasileiro club Palmeira named Roberto Trinas marketing director.

The Los Angeles Football Club named Kameron Florence director of premium and ticket sales.

Angel Maria Villar has been named president of the FIFA Russia 2018 Organizational Committee for the 2018 World Cup.

Sporting Goods and Apparel
Dick’s Sporting Goods promoted Lauren Hobart to executive vice president and chief marketing officer, and Chelsea Collective general manager.

Hurley founder Bob Hurley stepped down as chief executive officer to transition to a new role with parent company Nike.

Under Armour chief operating officer and chief financial officer Brad Dickerson will step down early next year to become chief financial officer of Blue Apron.

CARNEFIX
The National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum hired Jack Carnefix as operations manager.

UFC hired Kevin Kendall as vice president and associate general counsel and Peter Vesey as senior vice president of agency partnerships.

Dave Smith resigned as chief executive officer of Australia’s National Rugby League.  

Awards and Boards
Learfield’s executive vice president and chief culture and communications officer, Roger Gardner, was named a Citation of Merit Recipient by the University of Missouri’s College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources.

USA Triathlon board of directors President Barry Siff was elected to the International Triathlon Union executive board.
