Baseball
The Boston Red Sox promoted Gus Quattlebaum to director of professional scouting and Brian Bannister to director of pitching analysis and development.

The Florida Marlins hired Marc DelPiano as vice president of player development. DelPiano was a special assistant to the general manager for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Basketball
The Indiana Pacers named Brian Levy general manager the NBA Development League’s Fort Wayne (Ind.) Mad Ants. Levy was assistant general manager for the D-League’s Bakersfield Jam.

Colleges
Northern Kentucky University hired Brandon Hays as assistant athletic director for marketing, promotions and tickets, and Micki Ford as a ticket sales assistant.

The University of Memphis hired Steve Macy as senior associate athletic director for external relations. Macy was associate athletic director for marketing at New Mexico State University.

Facilities

ROTHENBERG
Comcast Spectacor promoted Brian Rothenberg to senior vice president and general counsel for Spectra.

Circuit of the Americas hired Jason Rittenberry as chief strategy officer. Rittenberry was president and chief executive officer for IRG Sports & Entertainment.

Hockey
The American Hockey League’s Grand Rapids (Mich.) Griffins promoted Michael Spruit to digital media production assistant, and hired Tara Boliard and Peter Van Dame as season ticket sales account executives.

The New York Rangers named former NHL player Chris Drury director of player development.

Media
CBS Sports named Jodi Logsdon news director and coordinating producer of studio production.

CBC Sports named Greg Stremlaw head of sports. Stremlaw was chief executive officer for Curling Canada.

Motorsports
The NHRA promoted Marleen Gurrola to vice president of human resources and named Ken Adelson vice president of broadcasting and digital content and executive producer. Adelson was a senior consultant and executive producer for Desser Sports Media.

Green Savoree Racing Promotions promoted Jeff Atkinson to president of the Honda Indy Toronto.

Awards and Boards
Trinity Financial Sports and Entertainment Management Co. named Anthony Caruso, chair of Scarinci Hollenbeck’s sports and entertainment law practice, to its advisory board.

Other
The WWE promoted Brian Flinn to executive vice president of marketing and communications.

Insurance broker Lockton hired Lori Shaw to lead its gaming, advertising, media, entertainment and sports practice. Shaw was executive director of the global entertainment group for Aon Risk Services.

Futurestep named Bret Fishkind a managing consultant to help launch its sports practice focusing on midlevel and emerging talent.

XOS Digital named Joe Boyle senior director of basketball product marketing and sales.
