Baseball
The Detroit Tigers promoted David Chadd to assistant general manager; John Westhoff to vice president, assistant general manager and general counsel; Scott Bream to vice president of player personnel; Dave Littlefield to vice president of player development; and Sam Menzin to baseball operations director.

Colleges
The University of Maryland hired Dustin Semonavick as assistant athletic director for media relations and promoted Tyler Mariucci to associate athletic director for sports administration and development relations. Semonavick was director of media relations at Towson University.

The University of Massachusetts Lowell hired Michael Letzeisen as assistant athletic director for events and operations. Letzeisen was athletic director and Murray Athletic Center facility manager at Elmira College.

The University of Alabama Birmingham hired Frank Cuervo as senior associate athletic director for external relations. Cuervo was general manager for marketing and corporate partnerships for Missouri State Sports Marketing.

Fresno State hired Franklin Alegria as senior associate athletic director for external development. Alegria was associate director of development for the Duck Athletic Fund at the University of Oregon.

Middle Tennessee State University promoted Whit Turnbow to senior associate athletic director for strategic initiatives and resource enhancement.

Penn State hired Cory Chapman as assistant athletic director and general manager of Beaver Stadium and Pegula Ice Arena, Michael Cross as assistant athletic director for new business development and Andrea Wickerham as assistant athletic director for human resources.

Syracuse University promoted Mark Trumbo to coordinator of student-athlete affairs and CHAMPS Life Skills, and hired Kimberly Keenan-Kirkpatrick as deputy athletic director and senior woman administrator, John Cunningham as deputy athletic director for administration and Rhonda McFarland as associate athletic director of finance.

The University of Houston hired Brendan Hoffer as associate athletic director for development. Hoffer was associate athletic director for external relations and executive director of the ULM Athletic Foundation at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

The University of Memphis named Courtney Vinson associate athletic director for sport services and senior woman administrator. Vinson was assistant athletic director for compliance at the University of Central Florida.

The University of Missouri hired Ryan Bradley as senior associate athletic director of strategic communications. Bradley was senior associate athletic director for external relations at the University of Memphis.

The University of New Hampshire hired Jon Danos as senior associate athletic director for external affairs. Danos was a partner, president and chief operating officer for Opening Day Partners and Maryland Baseball.

Facilities
Jerry Goldman was named assistant general manager for U.S. Bank Stadium. Goldman was general manager for Nassau Coliseum.

The American Hockey League’s Springfield (Mass.) Falcons promoted Chris Thompson to senior vice president, Cortney Hersom to vice president, Andy Zilch to manager of communications and broadcasting, Marija Ward to manager of ticket operations and Luke Pawlak to manager of game operations and creative services.

IMG College named Zack Rosenberg general manager for its partnership at Princeton University. Rosenberg was director of sponsorships for the Class A South Atlantic League’s Lakewood BlueClaws.

Learfield Sports hired Ed Berry as vice president of digital sales for its Chicago-based national sales team. Berry was Midwest senior director of sales for CBS Interactive/Entertainment.

Multiteam Companies
Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment promoted Tracy Sandoval to vice president of partnership marketing, Joyce Jelks to vice president of human resources, Jeff Gamble to vice president of creative and content management, Jeff Scott to senior director of community relations, Michael Shear to director of business strategy and analytics, and Jared Kaye to director of financial and ticket analysis. The Brooklyn Nets promoted Victor Pereira to senior director of information technology and Tony Brasile to senior director of operations.

Other
SeatGeek named Jeff Ianello executive vice president of client partnerships. Ianello was vice president of team marketing and business operations for the NBA.
