Basketball
The Charlotte Hornets expanded the role of TV color analyst Dell Curry to include team ambassador and special projects adviser.

The NBA named Oris Stuart chief diversity and inclusion officer. Stuart was a senior partner with Korn Ferry, where he led its inclusion and diversity practice

Colleges
The Landmark Conference hired Sarah Twiggs as assistant commissioner.

The Minority Opportunities Athletic Association elected Mario Moccia, New Mexico State University athletic director, president; Peggy Davis, Virginia State University athletic director, vice president; China Jude, Queens College assistant vice president for athletics, and Donald Reed, University at Buffalo senior associate athletic director for academics and athletic performance, at-large members; and Renae Myles, Alabama A&M University associate athletic director for business and administration and senior woman administrator, and Carla Wilson, University of Missouri Kansas City athletic director, new board members.

Marquette University promoted Adrienne Ridgeway to associate athletic director for academic support and student programs.

Carnegie Mellon University hired Patrick Sterk as associate athletic director. Sterk was senior associate athletic director at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

The University of Alaska Fairbanks hired Chris Caskey as assistant athletic director of communications, effective July 1. Caskey was an athletic communications assistant at the University of Arkansas.

Eastern Michigan University hired Ben Herman as assistant athletic director for equipment operations. Herman was assistant director for athletic equipment services at San Diego State University.

Nicholls State University named Lori Richard assistant athletic director for academic services. Richard was an instructor of interdisciplinary studies, professional adviser and coordinator of student engagement for the university.

Santa Clara University hired Leslie Osborne as assistant athletic director for intercollegiate sports and student-athlete leadership and Kyle Eisenmann as assistant athletic director for compliance. Osborne was director of the Jerry Smith Coaching for Life Academy at Santa Clara and is a soccer analyst for Fox Sports, and Eisenmann was an associate attorney for Kenney & McCafferty P.C.

St. John’s University Athletic Director Chris Monasch will resign from his position, effective June 30.

Southern Utah University Athletic Director Ken Beazer announced his resignation from his position.

The Citadel Brigadier Foundation named Rob Hoak executive director.

The University of Houston promoted Jeramiah Dickey to deputy athletic director.

Texas Tech University named Robert Giovannetti senior associate athletic director for external operations and strategic communications. Giovannetti was the university’s managing director of public relations and play-by-play announcer for Texas Tech TV broadcasts.

The University of Massachusetts hired Tom McElroy as senior associate athletic director for external relations. McElroy was senior vice president of the sports division for the Leffler Agency.

The University of North Carolina at Pembroke named Robin Langley assistant athletic director for academic support and student success. Langley was head coach of the university’s tennis program.

Football

WINDHAM
The Arena Football League’s LA Kiss hired Joe Windham as chief executive officer. Windham was formerly president of the AFL’s Arizona Rattlers.

The Chicago Bears hired Joey Laine as director of football administration. Laine was a salary cap analyst for the New Orleans Saints.

The Jacksonville Jaguars promoted Chris Polian to director of player personnel and Chris Driggers to director of pro personnel, and named John Idzik special assistant to the general manager.

The Kansas City Chiefs promoted Chris Ballard to director of football operations and Mike Borgonzi and Brett Veach to co-directors of player personnel.

Hockey
Sunrise Sports & Entertainment and the Florida Panthers promoted Amy Perry to chief financial officer.

The St. Louis Blues named Martin Brodeur assistant general manager.

The Carolina Hurricanes named Dennis Moore chief financial officer.

The Los Angeles Kings hired Darshan Parikh as lead technology engineer.

Marketing
MKTG promoted Ben Roth to chief creative officer.

Jack Morton Worldwide named Rob McQueen president of the New York office and a member of the agency’s worldwide executive team. McQueen was executive vice president and director of experiential marketing for Momentum Worldwide.

Home Team Marketing hired Vic Gregovits as senior vice president and general manager of the Cleveland office.

Melt hired Jason Pressman as director of lifestyle marketing. Pressman was director of trade marketing and brand activation in the Southeast for Anheuser-Busch InBev.

Media
Runner’s World promoted Chris Kraft to site director of RunnersWorld.com, Hannah McGoldrick to social media editor and Erin Benner to art director. The company hired Bryan Boyle as gear editor, Clare Lissaman as photo director and Ali Nolan as associate editor.

Noel Wax stepped down as vice president of strategic partnerships for CBS Altitude Group.

MP & Silva hired William Mao as vice president of digital for the Americas. Mao was manager of sports content partnerships for YouTube.

Motorsports
Richard Childress Racing hired Robin Johnson as vice president of business development. Johnson was general counsel for the South Carolina state treasurer’s office.

Soccer
MLS Atlanta hired Ann Rodriguez as vice president of business operations. Rodriguez was senior vice president for investment group NextGen Angels.

The New England Revolution promoted Jason Gove to director of soccer operations.

Sporting Goods and Apparel
Columbia Sportswear named Han-Bo Shim general manager of its wholly owned Korea subsidiary. Shim was vice president and managing director for TaylorMade Golf’s Korean operations.

Other
Steve Seiferheld launched his own marketing strategy and customer insights practice, Insight For All. Seiferheld was senior vice president of consumer research for Turnkey Intelligence.

MCCAULEY
OneUp Sports hired John McCauley as vice president of content and strategy. McCauley was senior director of marketing for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.

Awards and Boards
Oklahoma State University President Burns Hargis was named to the College Football Playoff’s board of managers.
