ATLANTA
Braves selling SunTrust Park tickets

The Atlanta Braves are now selling season tickets to SunTrust Park at their newly opened SunTrust Park Preview Center. Current season-ticket holders have been assigned an appointment window. Each window will have a two-week appointment time period to meet with the Braves membership services team. Nonpremium seats will range from $6-$90, and premium seats range from $85-$475. The ballpark is set to open for the 2017 season.

TigerNet expands with mobile app

OneUp Sports launched the TigerNet mobile app for Clemson University athletics. TigerNet.com was established in 1995 by two Clemson students and is the oldest and largest online Clemson Tigers sports community. The site has grown to more than 121,000 members over the past 19 years.

DALLAS
Marathon brings teams on board

The Dallas Marathon created a year-round race series in collaboration with the Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers and FC Dallas. The RunDallas Race Series events include the inaugural FC Dallas Footy 5K and Fun Run (July 11); the Rangers Labor Day Race (Sept. 7); the Mavs Run This Town 5K in October; and the 45th running of the Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon and Behringer Relay (Dec. 13).

INDIANAPOLIS
Butler signs Learfield

Butler University tapped Learfield Sports to represent Bulldog Athletics’ multimedia rights through the 2024-25 collegiate athletic season. Butler Sports Properties, a Learfield entity, will manage aspects of the Bulldogs’ multimedia rights, including signage, digital, corporate sponsorships, hospitality, event marketing, local television and radio play-by-play and coaches’ shows.


LOS ANGELES
Dodgers plan LGBT night

The Los Angeles Dodgers will hold their third annual LGBT night at Dodger Stadium on June 19. The evening game against the San Francisco Giants will feature a ceremonial first pitch by Lisa Vanderpump, businesswoman, TV personality, executive producer, philanthropist and GLAAD spokeswoman.

MIAMI
Marlins promoting community arts

The Miami Marlins partnered with City Theatre and Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County on a project that combines sports entertainment and the arts in South Florida. Jose Fernandez, Michael Morse, Giancarlo Stanton and Billy The Marlin will be featured alongside actors from City Theatre on a series of street banners that promote the 2015 Summer Shorts Festival.

PHILADELPHIA
‘Sons of Ben’ movie debuts June 10

A portion of the proceeds from the June 10 premiere of “Sons of Ben: The Movie” will be donated to Chester City United, a youth development charity. The movie focuses on the fans and their love of sports, and their desire to help renew the city of Chester, where the Philadelphia Union calls PPL Park home.

Phillies auction raises $105K
The third annual Phillies Charities Inc. “Phantastic Auction” raised nearly $105,000 for a variety of nonprofit organizations supported by the MLB team. The top-selling item in the online auction was a dinner party for eight with hall of famer Mike Schmidt in the Phillies Executive Dining Room, which went for $5,250. Among the beneficiaries of the auction is the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association.

PHOENIX
Player, school partner on scholarships

Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt will partner once again with the University of Phoenix to offer five full-tuition scholarships to deserving individuals in 2015. Last year, Goldschmidt and the school provided three full-tuition scholarships to individuals pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree at the university. Applications for the scholarship are being accepted through Aug. 4.

Panthers sign Dex Imaging

Dex Imaging renewed its Pillar Partnership as the official imaging solutions provider of the Florida Panthers and the BankAtlantic Center. As part of the multiyear deal, Dex will receive extensive in-arena signage, as well as exposure through Sunrise Sports & Entertainment’s internal media outlets including online, television, radio, print and outdoor.

TULSA
Shock, iHeart Media renew deal

The Tulsa Shock renewed its radio partnership with iHeart Media to broadcast every Shock home game this season. Additionally, 10 Rock-N-Shock Coaches Radio Shows presented by Osage Casino will be aired this year, adding four more shows for the 2015 season than last year. The WNBA team’s home games will air on 93.5 Chrome FM.

Molson Coors Canada returns to IndyCar
Molson Coors Canada will be the official beer and cider of the Honda Indy Toronto race through 2017. Molson Coors returns to the event after serving as title sponsor from 1986-2006. The brand portfolio includes Coors Light, Molson Canadian, Creemore Lot 9 Pilsner, Granville Island Hey Day Hefeweizen, Molson Canadian Cider and Heineken.

Caps fans raise $33K with beards
Washington Capitals fans raised more than $33,700 for the American Special Hockey Association by participating in the team’s Beard-A-Thon initiative during the Stanley Cup playoffs. Fans elected to grow a beard themselves or made a financial donation in support of a player or a fan who chose to grow a playoff beard.

HAMBURG, GERMANY
Match IQ marketing teams
German football clubs Kaisers-lautern, Schalke and Union Berlin agreed to deals with Hamburg-based agency Match IQ, according to a Sponsors report. The agency will support the clubs with organizing and planning their respective preseasons. The contracts with Schalke and Union Berlin run until 2018. The Kaiserslautern deal ends in 2017.

LONDON
Havas, Cake agencies merge
Havas Media Group’s agencies Havas Sports & Entertainment and Cake announced a merger to become Havas SE Cake, according to an Event Magazine report. The office will be based in London’s Covent Garden. Cake’s current clients include Carling and Weetabix, while Havas SE brings Coca-Cola, Barclays and FIFA to the roster table.

MANCHESTER
Man U, Epson renew partnership
Manchester United reached an extension to its partnership with technology developer Epson. Epson became the club’s official office equipment supplier in 2010. The new agreement will see the two global organizations team for a further three years.

PARIS
PSG debuts video game
Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain launched its “Runner” game — similar to “Temple Run” — available on iOS and Android. It’s the first time that the club has developed its own video game in collaboration with the 3DDuo studio.

TURIN, ITALY
Juventus favors Tecate in Mexico
Juventus FC reached a partnership with Cervezas Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma Brewery. The Tecate brand will be Juventus’ official regional beer in Mexico. The agreement establishes the terms for a series of media rights, such as the use of the Juventus image via digital channels and at events.
