People: Executive transactions

Baseball
The Washington Nationals hired Kai Murray as director of premium sales and service. Murray was manager of club sales for the Arizona Cardinals.

DRAKE
The Class A Midwest League’s Wisconsin Timber Rattlers hired Jerred Drake as production manager and Chris Prentice as assistant director of food and beverage.

Basketball
The National Basketball Players Association hired Tara Greco as director of communications. Greco was director of sustainability communications for Wal-Mart.

Canada Basketball promoted Michele O’Keefe to president and chief executive officer. O’Keefe replaces Wayne Parrish, who will remain with the organization as co-chair of the board of directors.

Phoenix Suns Charities promoted Sarah Krahenbuhl to executive director, effective July 1.

Colleges
University of California, Davis, Athletic Director Terry Tumey will step down, effective June 15.

Facilities
International Speedway Corp. promoted Dan Houser to executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer; Gary Crotty to executive vice president, chief administration officer and chief legal counsel; Craig Neeb to executive vice president and chief development and digital officer; Daryl Wolfe to executive vice president and chief marketing officer; Joie Chitwood to executive vice president of ISC, and president of Daytona International Speedway; Laura Jackson to senior vice president of corporate services and chief human resources officer; and Brett Scharback to senior vice president of legal and chief compliance officer. Greg Motto was named vice president of finance and accounting and ISC controller. Larree Renda, Safeway executive vice president, was named to the company’s board of directors. Also, ISC placed additional responsibilities, including managerial oversight of Americrown, with Watkins Glen International President Michael Printup.

Ephesus Lighting hired Karl Severance as business development manager. Severance was a regional sales manager for Leotek Electronics USA. 

RDG Planning & Design named Eric Einhorn a focus market leader in its sports design studio. Einhorn was director of sports architecture for McMillan Pazdan Smith.

Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca named David Hart public relations manager. Hart was director of communications for the International Motor Sports Association.

Football
The Buffalo Bills promoted Erica Muhleman to vice president of corporate partnerships.

The Green Bay Packers promoted Peggy Prebelski to director of retail operations.

The NFL hired Peter Griffiths as chief operating officer of NFL International.

Philadelphia Eagles director of ticket client service Leo Carlin will retire, effective at the end of April.

The Columbus Blue Jackets promoted Justin Dunn to manager of inside sales, Morgan Obendorfer to season-ticket service coordinator and Leah Cover to group event specialist.

Learfield Sports promoted Spencer Christiansen to vice president. Tom Stevens, vice president of new business development, will shift to a new role. Both will oversee collegiate properties in Learfield’s central region.

Home Team Sports hired Michael Galante as vice president of creative partnerships. Galante was senior director of marketing solutions-international for the NBA.

Media
Spartan Sports Network named Scott Meier Detroit market manager. Meier was regional vice president for WJR, WDVD and WDRQ in Detroit.

NESN hired Neal Scarbrough as senior director of network and technical operations. Scarbrough was senior executive producer of sports for Al Jazeera America.

Turner Sports promoted Mark Johnson to senior vice president of digital.

The North American Soccer League hired Jack Bell as a senior media specialist. Bell was formerly an editor and writer for The New York Times.

The New York Red Bulls hired Jason Baum as senior director of communications. Baum was senior associate athletic director and chief communications officer for Rutgers University.  

Awards and Boards
The New York Racing Association named Anthony Bonomo chairman.

Sporting Goods and Apparel
Quiksilver promoted Pierre Agnes to chief executive officer, Greg Healy to president and Thomas Chambolle to chief financial officer. Agnes was also added to the board of directors, and Bob McKnight was named chairman.

Dollamur Sport Surfaces hired Dave Rossi as senior vice president of marketing and retail solutions. Rossi was chief operating officer for Pivotal 5.

Puma promoted Johan Adamsson to director of sports marketing and sports licensing.
