PrimeSport sells spots inside, outside AT&T

PrimeSport’s Final Four fan hospitality area will have a space for up to 4,000 customers within the footprint of the NCAA’s Tip-Off Tailgate at AT&T Stadium.

PrimeSport is the official hospitality provider for the NCAA as part of a deal that runs through 2016. In addition to selling packages that include the tailgate outside the stadium, PrimeSport is selling packages for individuals and groups inside the stadium, starting at $1,000 per person for a ticket, food, drink and entertainment.

Access to PrimeSport’s space will require a separate ticket, in addition to the game ticket. Prime-Sport guests will receive vouchers that are good for redemption at concession stands within the tailgate.

Sam Soni, president of PrimeSport, said overall sales have been brisk. Packages for the fan experience in the tailgate space sold out weeks ago. A week out, PrimeSport still had hospitality packages available for inside the stadium.

Before the tournament started, sales were up 25 percent compared with last year’s Final Four in Atlanta. Those sales were primarily from corporate clients and regional fans.

Now PrimeSport is seeing more buying interest from fans of the teams that look like favorites to make it to Dallas.
“It comes in different waves,” Soni said. “It’s definitely been a popular ticket.”

In addition to the hospitality space at the tailgate, PrimeSport has suite and club-seat inventory inside the stadium.
