The Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Nets promoted Barry Baum to chief communications officer.

The WNBA’s Atlanta Dream hired Ashley Preisinger as chief executive officer. Preisinger was director of client development and marketing at Homrich Berg.

The Denver Nuggets named Michael Morrow director of ticket sales. Morrow was the Anaheim Ducks’ senior manager of new business development and retention.

Colleges
Fordham University named David Roach director of intercollegiate athletics and recreation. Roach was athletic director at Colgate University.

West Virginia University hired Nicholas Halfhill as assistant director of sports marketing. Halfhill was an account executive for the independent Frontier League Washington (Pa.) Wild Things.

Facilities

Scanlon
Quicken Loans Arena hired Patrick Scanlon as director of guest experience. Scanlon was manager of visitor and member services at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland.

Ketchum Sports & Entertainment named Patrick Wixted vice president and client services director, Chris Smith and Allison Goldstein account supervisors, Danielle Dussault account executive and Rachel Brueno and Sofia Vrani account associates.
