Collegiate Licensing Co. adds Virginia Tech to client roster

Collegiate Licensing Co. has added Virginia Tech as a client, giving Atlanta-based CLC 11 of the 12 current schools in the ACC.
An IMG College company, CLC will serve as the Hokies’ licensing agent, managing and protecting the school’s marks, beginning this week. Virginia Tech previously had handled its licensing in-house.
“CLC will help us grow royalties through unique programs and increased visibility,” said Locke White, Virginia Tech’s director of licensing. “Aligning with CLC will allow the university to tap into the resources necessary to elevate our trademark licensing program.”
The Hokies also have their multimedia rights with IMG College.
