Phoenix Suns Charities named Robin Milne executive director.

Colleges
Central College Athletic Director Al Dorenkamp will retire at the end of the 2011-12 academic year.

Clayton State University hired Carl McAloose as athletic director. McAloose was president and chief executive officer for Athletics Staffing and Consulting.

Hendrix College named softball coach Amy Weaver athletic director.

Oregon State University hired John Rizzardini as chief marketing officer. Rizzardini was senior vice president of ticket sales and service for the Minnesota Wild.

Facilities
Churchill Downs Racetrack promoted Ryan Jordan to general manager and Greg Bush to vice president of operations.

SMG named Jerry Goldman general manager of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Goldman was assistant general manager for the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla.

Football
The Oakland Raiders hired Lamonte Winston as director of player engagement. Winston has been president and chief executive officer of The Winston Group.

The San Francisco 49ers hired Kunal Malik as chief technology officer. Malik led the creation of the IT department at Facebook, a department he founded in 2007.

Golf
The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America elected Sandy Queen president, Patrick Finlen vice president, Keith Ihms secretary and treasurer, and Rafael Barajas and William Maynard directors. Darren Davis was appointed to the board of directors.

Horse Racing
The New York Racing Association named Susanne Stover senior vice president and chief financial officer. Stover was chief financial officer for Rosa Mexicano Restaurants

Dawes
Shamrock Sports and Entertainment hired Matt Dawes as director of partnership development. Dawes was marketing and sales director for Diamond Resorts International.

BC Sport Agency named Scott Ackles chief executive officer; Moray Keith board chair; and Priestner Allinger, Lauren Woolstencroft, Kevin Bent and Sheila Bouman to the board of directors.

Front Row Marketing Services hired Brian Marks as vice president of motorsports and automotive performance. Marks was founder of TopSpeed Management.

Learfield Sports named Brian McKinnell general manager for its Texas A&M Sports Properties at Texas A&M University, Kyle Droppers general manager for its Falcon Sports Properties at Bowling Green State University and Joe Druten general manager for its Golden Hurricane Sports Properties at the University of Tulsa.

RSR Partners hired Joseph Bailey as managing director and head of the firm’s sport industry practice. Bailey was founder and chief executive officer of Global Sport 360.

IMG College hired Tom Fletcher as regional vice president for the West and promoted Cathy Weeden to associate regional vice president for the Southeast. Fletcher was vice president of corporate partnerships for the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Armada Group hired Rob Thompson as partner, managing new business development. Thompson was director of activation for the Disney Media Group.

Golf Channel hired Geoff Russell as senior vice president and executive editor. Russell was editor-in-chief for Golf World magazine.

Allsport Management Managing Director David Campbell stepped down from his position.

Madison Square Garden Co. hired Kim Kerns as senior vice president of communications. Kerns was vice president of corporate communications for Cablevision.

The Houston Dynamo promoted Steven Powell to executive vice president and named David Tagliarino senior vice president. Tagliarino was director of sports marketing and sponsorships at SMG-Reliant Park.
