Baseball
The Florida Marlins named Stan Meek vice president of scouting and Jim Fleming special assistant to the president of baseball operations and hired Marty Scott as vice president of player development.

Chuck LaMar resigned as Philadelphia Phillies assistant general manager of player development and scouting.

Basketball
The Golden State Warriors named Kirk Lacob general manager of the NBA Development League’s Dakota Wizards. Lacob was the Warriors’ director of basketball operations.

Minnesota Timberwolves assistant general manager Tony Ronzone left the organization.

Colleges
The Indiana State University Foundation hired Nate Green as executive director of the Sycamore Athletic Foundation and Darrin Barton as director of development for athletics.

The University of Illinois-Chicago hired Katie Kozak as assistant director of development and special services and Casie Sullivan as assistant director of marketing and game operations.

Morehead State University named Matt Segal athletic media relations director.

The University of Oregon named Craig Pintens senior associate athletic director for marketing and public relations. Pintens was LSU assistant athletic director for marketing.

The Big South Conference hired Matt VanSandt as assistant director of marketing.

Facilities
Homestead-Miami Speedway hired Ali Bradshaw as director of ticket sales, Eric Childers as manager of ticket operations relations, Randall Hoppe as promotions manager, Kela Jones as manager of community relations, Bethany Luna as manager of ticket sales and Sandy Sarbadhikari as senior manager of corporate partnerships.

Football
The Atlanta Falcons promoted Rich McKay to president and chief executive officer.

Golf
The National Golf Foundation named Austin Elmer director of member research.

Hockey
The Tampa Bay Lightning named Jamie Spencer executive vice president of sales. Spencer was vice president of customer sales and service for the Minnesota Wild.

The Florida Panthers named former NHL player Cory Stillman assistant director of player development.

The San Jose Sharks promoted Joe Will to assistant general manager. He will continue to report to vice president and general manager Doug Wilson.

Lacrosse
Major League Lacrosse’s Ohio Machine hired Rachel Csonka and Kiel Rostorfer as ticket sales managers.

Marketing
StarGames promoted Jessica Smyser to director of events, and hired Brittany Crawford as assistant to the president.

SportsOne hired Robert Burke as senior partnership manager.

Maggard
GroupM hired John Kristick as global chief executive officer for GroupM ESP. Kristick was managing director for Premier Partnerships.

Txtstation/CommerceTel hired Derick Maggard as director of sales.

Media
DirecTV promoted Patrick Crumb to president of DirecTV Sports Networks.

ESPN promoted Andy Hall to associate director of communications and Marcus Lynam to sports marketing coordinator.

Sporting Goods and Apparel
Performance Bicycle hired Mark Leydecker as senior vice president of merchandising. Leydecker was managing director for Mavic USA and led its U.S. division.

Under Armour promoted Kip Fulks to chief operating officer, replacing Wayne Marino, who is retiring. It also promoted Adam Peake to senior vice president of U.S. sales and named Chip Adams chief performance officer. Adams will continue to serve on the board of directors.

Sports Commissions and Tourism Boards
The L.A. Sports Council elected Scott London as chairman of the board of directors.

Award and Boards
The LPGA named Roberta Bowman, Duke Energy senior vice president and chief sustainability officer, to its board of directors.
