Basketball
The National Basketball Retired Players Association named Arnie Fielkow chief executive officer and executive director, effective Oct. 1. Fielkow is a former executive vice president of the New Orleans Saints.

Pacers Sports & Entertainment promoted Kevin Bower to executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Colleges
Kean University named Chris Morgan director of athletics and recreation. Morgan was athletic director at Goldey-Beacom College.

Marian University named Steve Downing athletic director. Downing was senior associate athletic director for internal affairs at Texas Tech University.

San Jose State University promoted Marie Tuite to deputy athletic director and chief operating officer.

Syracuse University named Rachel Newsted compliance coordinator and Ted Feeley and Matt Houde athletic communications assistants.

Texas A&M University athletics hired Jennifer Martin as director of marketing. Martin was director of marketing and trademark licensing at the University of Alabama.

The University of California, Riverside hired Kevin Price as senior associate athletic director for compliance and student services. Price was regional director of sales for ACS Athletics.

The University of Cincinnati hired Brendan Fouracre as associate athletic director for facilities and operations. Fouracre was director of game and event management and facility scheduling at Louisiana State University.

DeLozier
Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, hired Patrick DeLozier as general manager. DeLozier was club manager for Augusta National Golf Club.

Football
The Minnesota Vikings promoted Jeff Anderson to director of corporate communications, Lisa Larson to director of human resources and Cheryl Nygaard to director of information technology.

Hockey
The ECHL promoted Jeff Zavatsky to director of hockey operations.

The American Hockey League’s Grand Rapids (Mich.) Griffins hired Amanda Gillard as ticket operations manager, Kyle Kujawa as public relations manager and Ashley Binning and Zack Krywyj as group sales account executives.

Horse Racing
The National Thoroughbred Racing Association hired Penelope Miller as social media manager. Miller was horsemen’s liaison for Tampa Bay Downs.

Marketing
IMG College hired Adam Honig as senior account executive for St. John’s IMG Sports Marketing.

Havas Sports & Entertainment named Mark Rothenberg senior vice president for its U.S. sports division.

Magnuson
KO Sports hired Kevin Magnuson as director of development and client support services and as a NHLPA-registered agent. Magnuson was practicing corporate law at Henderson & Lyman in Chicago.

Lobel
Leverage Agency promoted Chris Farrell to account services group director and Keith Wan to senior director of sports and athlete marketing, and hired Adam Lobel as sports and entertainment property sales manager. Lobel was ticketing manager at Jet Set Sports.

Fuel TV named Melissa Forman senior vice president of programming, development and current.

Tennis Channel named Peter Steckelman senior vice president of business and legal affairs. Steckelman was vice president of legal affairs for Konami Digital Entertainment.
