Daytona provides new trees at airport
Daytona International Speedway President Joie Chitwood III speaks at a ceremony marking the planting of three groves of trees at Daytona Beach International Airport, near the speedway. Volusia County Chair Frank Bruno and International Speedway Corp. CEO Lesa France Kennedy were on hand for the April 20 event, where the speedway planted trees to offset carbon emissions as part of NASCAR’s green initiatives.
