IMG College licensing head Eiler to leave company
Published January 17, 2011, Page 26
Eiler, 39, oversaw the division that was formerly Collegiate Licensing Co. He started with CLC in 1993 and moved to IMG when it acquired the company in 2007. Eiler was a close lieutenant to Pat Battle, who built CLC with his father, Bill, before becoming corporate vice president and chief of IMG’s college division when it was formed with the acquisition of CLC. Battle announced earlier this month that he will leave IMG when his contract expires in June.
IMG College President Ben Sutton said that no replacement has been named for Eiler. Sutton said Eiler’s plans are to take a few months off and then work as a consultant to Sutton for IMG’s licensing division.
