The Class A South Atlantic League's Lexington (Ky.) Legends hired Lauren Shrader as promotions coordinator and George Stafford as corporate account executive.
Waldorf College hired Michael Scarano as athletic director. Scarano was associate athletic director at the University of California, Riverside.
The University of Virginia promoted Adrien Harraway to assistant athletic director for academic affairs for football.
Mercy College hired Meredith Pope as director of sports medicine.
Philips Arena promoted Trey Feazell to senior vice president and general manager.
The Sports Financial Advisors Association elected Andre Mirkine president, Katherine Kinser to the board of directors and Michael Misner as emeritus director.
Fox Networks Affiliate Sales and Marketing hired B.J. Elias as vice president of advanced services. Elias was director of strategy and business development for A&E Television Networks.
Monumental Sports and Entertainment promoted David Touhey to senior vice president and general manager of Verizon Center. Also, Gary Handleman, president of facilities for Monumental Sports & Entertainment, will retire.
Kroenke Sports Enterprises promoted Tom Philand to senior vice president of media and sponsorship sales.
USA Diving promoted Linda Paul to president and chief executive officer.

Easton Sports promoted Mike Zlaket to executive vice president and general manager, Matt Arndt to senior vice president of product management and Doug Appleton to general manager of the lacrosse division, and hired Duke Stump as senior vice president of culture, creative and brand innovation. Stump was principal and chief architect at The Northstar Manifesto.
Ping promoted John K. Solheim to president and representative director of Ping Golf Japan, effective Jan. 1.
Sports Commissions and Tourism Boards
The Columbus Sports Commission hired Bruce Wimbish as senior manager for marketing and communications. Wimbish was basketball communications manager for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The WTA Tour hired Leah Rinfret as counsel. Rinfret was corporate counsel for the Professional Bull Riders.
The Sony Ericsson Open named Edward Wimberly guest services and ticket agent. Wimberly was concessions lead for Victoria & Associates.
The National Academy of Sports Medicine hired Chuck King as marketing manager. King was director of public relations for Todd McFarlane Productions/McFarlane Toys.
Altitude Sports and Entertainment promoted Matt Hutchings to president and chief executive officer. Hutchings was also named executive vice president of media for Kroenke Sports Enterprises.
Golf Digest Properties promoted Kate Nicholson to manager of events and integrated marketing.
Goodyear hired Doug Grassian as public relations manager. Grassian was ESPN communications manager.
Playbook Management International hired Mark Washo as managing partner. Washo was president and general manager of the Women's Professional Soccer's Washington Freedom.

Phoenix Suns Charities named Susan Anable, director of public affairs at Cox Communications, and Dominique Dady, community volunteer at The Wellness Community, to its board of directors.
Kevin Smeltzer, USA Triathlon mideast region representative, was elected to the organization's board of directors. Jarrod Shoemaker was elected to the Athlete Advisory Council.
